Privacy Policy

ValoLineups Pro ("the app") is an unofficial, fan-made Valorant lineups guide. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information.

No ads, no tracking

The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not build an advertising profile of you and we do not sell your data.

Accounts and sign-in

You can browse the app anonymously. To sync your saved lineups across devices, you can create an account. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf. When you create an account, the following is collected:

Your email address and a username
A password — stored only as a secure hash by Clerk; we never see it, or
If you sign in with Google, Discord, or Facebook: your basic profile from that provider (such as name, email address, and avatar)

We use this information only to authenticate you and to sync your data across your devices. You can delete your account at any time, which removes this information. See Clerk's privacy practices at clerk.com/legal/privacy.

Your in-app data

The following are stored on your device:

Your saved / favorite lineups
Your recently-viewed lineups
Your profile name and photo (if you set them)
Whether you've completed the intro screens

If you are signed in, your saved and recently-viewed lineups are also stored on your account (via Clerk) so they sync across your devices. Your profile name, photo, and intro state stay on your device. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling removes the local copies; deleting your account removes the synced copies.

Images and network requests

Lineup, agent, and map images are loaded on demand from our content delivery network (Cloudinary). As with any request to load an image over the internet, the server may automatically receive your device's IP address and standard technical metadata (such as device type) in order to deliver the image. This information is used only to serve the content and is not used to identify or track you.

Feedback you choose to send

If you use the in-app feedback form, the message you write (and an optional contact you provide) is sent so we can read and act on it. Don't include sensitive personal information in feedback.

Children's privacy

The app contains no objectionable content and is suitable for general audiences. Creating an account requires an email address; the app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

ValoLineups Pro is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or specifically approved by Riot Games, Inc. VALORANT and all related logos, characters, maps, and content are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
